Yes, you can take a second glance at the title. Many have perceived me as a coconut-and most of my life has been about proving myself otherwise. I may have a difficulty with flowing when I speak my own language BUT that does not mean that I am a COCONUT. I am black and I am proud of my ethnicity. Being rooted in a white school and white suburb does not me make any less black. I know where I come from, and I know why I should appreciate being black. I am on a road of self-discovery and self-appreciation and I believe that being part of the BLACK CULTURE CONSCIOUSNESS SOCIETY is a great starting point for me. I realised that there is a society that shares my outlooks on life and now I will be able to share my views in a wide platform. Come feed your mind every Fridays from 3-onwards at SRC chambers at South Campus !You will be highly educated and entertained!
