This past weekend, family and friends gathered to celebrate my friend's/sister's 21st birthday. The event was beyond exciting-the atmosphere was filled with love and joy. It felt like we were all tuned to one song-that is-honoring and praising Andy for her achievements thus far. The birthday girl blew us all away with a lesson about God, Family and Self-Appreciation. The elders were taken aback by her dedication to God-and I too was inspired and touched by her wisdom. I pray that she could serve as an inspiration to other young girls who are lost in this world.
