I would like to take this opportunity to thank all those that made a difference to Sihlangule Aids Networking Organisation, 2012 was a successful year because of you. A special thanks to Sibulele Kameni for donating mattresses to Lukhanyiso pre-school (the children now look forward to nap times because they sleep on mattresses instead of mats), my Melodi babies for donating clothes and unwanted goods for those less privileged at Sihlangule, South Campus Residences at NMMU for donating money for lunch packs to the pre-school (sis Zodwa once told me that some of the kids rely only on the food from the pre-school because they come from disadvantaged homes) , Unitas Residence at South Campus for spending the day at Lukhanyiso and adding light to the kids, Mawande Mvumvu, Sibulele Misani and Cwenga Mgubasi for producing an outstanding documentary to raise awareness about the need for charity, the BAMCC group led by Tinyiko Mathe that raised money to buy the pre-school containers to use as classes and lastly to BAYTV for showcasing people like Zodwa Plaatjie who truly have nothing but are still determined to make a change. I urge you all to make a change in any way possible because THE POWER OF ADDING HOPE OR DOING SOMETHING FOR SOMEONE ELSE CREATES A POSSIBILITY FOR CHANGE.
