This past Monday, Yfm launched
its first Live and Reyired segment with a live band on radio. The outcome was
greatly received by the Yfm listeners with the hashtag LiveNReyired trending in
Johannesburg. The first band to grace the Y-lounge was Micasa, with J-Something
on vocals, Mo-T on the trumpet and Dj Duda on the keyboard. Together they made
beautiful music, from slow jams to house music that made everyone get up and
dance. Micasa also had a surprise guest, Bra Banza from Mango Groove who also happens
to be Mo-T’s father. We had the opportunity to listen to both father and son
battle out and determine who the best really was. Catch Live and Reyired every
