This past Saturday (on the 8th of June) A Random Act of Love in partnership with Yfm hosted the Bophelo Sports Fundraiser in Meadowlands, Soweto with the tag-line “Play your part, Play a sport, Give with your heart and change a life” The initiative, which was established by A Random Act of Love (a group of young people who reach out and help charities) aimed to raise funds for Bophelo Home Based Care Centre. The Centre is a non-profit organisation that depends on donations from the public and private sectors. Bontle Motingoe and her team from A Random Act of Love committed to assist the Centre with their needs (namely daily living needs and renovations) as it benefits a large portion of Soweto. The fundraiser was filled with netball, soccer and basketball players who came to support the cause-with each team donating R250 to Bophelo.
