Shooting: Day 4

Being a final-year student is no joke. Submitting portfolio's, losing out on sleep and being friends with the laptop was not what I expected for this year-but my mom always says that the path to success is not smooth. So I will grin and bear all of this in hope that my talent won't go unnoticed. There is a reason to smile though, since I dedicated this year to Sihlangule Aids Networking I am making it my duty to help the Organisation in any way possible. My group and I are in the process of completing a documentary about the founder of Sihlangule, Zodwa Plaatjie (who has become such an inspiration to me). We went to film our last pieces for the documentary, next step will be editing and finally pitching it to some media houses for airplay.

  2. This is so cool hey. I worked with SABC education in '09, on a show called Beat it. We did short doccies on HIV related topics. I was inspired by all the people we featured. in fact my whole out look on life changed. I'm sure you're enjoying it and will learn a lot.

    Good luck with you doccie!
