From Lebo with Love

I found this while browsing through Lebo's Blog-I have never felt so special in my life. Being acknowledged on a blog is a great feeling-I always ask God to use me as His tool but I never knew that He answered my prayer request until I stumbled on this.....

Every once in a Life time there comes an out of this World Revelation, this may come in many different forms, for me it came in the form of a lady whom I had never thought in a million years would even care to know my name or who I was. At the time it happens you can never quite clearly realise it or point it out. Like all other works of The Most High(God for those of you who might start thinking of other things) you only learn the lesson at the end of everything(I’d like to say “when the time is right”) and you realise that there is nothing greater, more refreshing and breathtaking as God’s love for his children.

You might remember the project I started with a very gorgeous and most free spirited woman I’ve ever met,Andy. We recently just took part in the NMMU GCI Fashion Show. This is where my love for fashion got awakened and I can’t seem to think of anything else more challenging and at the same time very much exciting than this. After days of Hard Work and one sleepless nerve wrecking night before the show(this is when we made the final touches to the outfits) I was crowned Best Dressed Male Model for The 2012 GCI Fashion Show. 

I had always wanted to be a model since my KinderGarten years. Ofcourse I gave up on that drean when everyone who i thought mattered at the time(being a kid everyone has an impact on your life, no matter how irrelevant they are) told me that I could never make it. More than 16 years later when I had lost all interest and passion for that, a very special lady walks into my life and changes everything. She believed in me when everyone else(even my closest friends) were telling me that I would never make it. She saw something in me that I had forgotten ever existed. Last night my passion came alive 10 times stronger than before. The adrenaline rush kept me awake and reminded me that I deserve better. My Greatest Gratitude will forever be to Andy, you have really made my year. Next Stop… Mr NMMU
